Plot and Premise
The story introduces Sheelavathi (Anushka Shetty), a bus conductor, and her sweetheart, Desi Raju (Vikram Prabhu), a medical lab technician. They belong to the Ghaati community, which is trapped in the cycle of debt and exploitation driven by the dominant cannabis mafia run by the ruthless Naidu brothers (Kundhul Naidu and Kaasthala Naidu).
Sheelavathi and Desi Raju attempt to free their community by using Desi Raju's scientific knowledge to develop a new, highly profitable liquid cannabis product, challenging the Naidu brothers' monopoly. Their success leads to a devastating and brutal attack by the cartel on their community on their wedding day, where Desi Raju is murdered. This pivotal, emotional, and violent turning point fuels Sheelavathi’s transformation.
The second half follows Sheelavathi's ruthless campaign of vengeance against the Naidu brothers and the corrupt system—including complicit police and corporate figures—that enables the exploitation.
